The Cobra Encapsulation Unit

The Cobra is a glue-board insect control system which attracts insects by the use of ultra-violet light, traps them inside the unit, and catches them whenever they make contact with the glue-board. It is the ideal solution for environments such as:

food production
food processing
commercial kitchens
canteens
supermarkets
grocery stores
cafes and restaurants

We recommend the Cobra CT315, with its unique translucent casing, which emits light at 180 degrees (from the front, top, and sides), so attracting more insects than conventional units. Shape and colour as well as light output influence the number of insects attracted. Additionally, the unit incorporates a UV light reflecting louvre panel behind the main tubes to further enhance the output. This louvre has the added benefit that it hides the insects from view and provides discreet insect control for sensitive public areas.

The two specially formulated control boards ensure that, once inside, the insects are permanently trapped. The Cobra glue-boards have a large catch area (1,400 sq. cms. / 215 sq. ins.) They can be changed quickly and easily, but need changed less frequently than other units, making it the ideal choice where there are heavy infestations.

The Cobra can be supplied in either 30 Watt or 45 Watt variants, with either translucent or grey covers.
